My Healthy Child SB Services Directory Information |
| My Healthy Child SB Services Directory is a partnership of the First 5 Children and Families Commission, United Way of Santa Barbara County and the Family Service Agency’s | |||||||||||||
| My Healthy Child SB Services Directory is continually developing. The first step was to collect specific information as to how local programs and agencies most directly serve, or can support, parents and families in addressing the variety of issues or needs encountered with early childhood needs. The next step was to develop an online structure that could present the information and allow continual updates. Once the first draft of the web page was complete, we asked local experts to visit the site and provide input. | |||||||||||||
Four key initiatives will be launched in the final phase of development of My Healthy Child SB Services Directory:
2. Increase the number of parents and families using or served by My Healthy Child SB Services Directory; 3. Provide organizations with an online questionnaire for additions to My Healthy Child SB Services Directory; 4. Add information on organizations that relate more specifically to families. |
| We hope the directory will help bridge the communication gap that sometimes exists between the programs that are available and the
variety of needs that local parents face on a daily basis. |
