The YEP Pages Information |
| The YEP Pages is a partnership of the Santa Barbara County Education Office, the United Way and the Family Service Agency’s | |||||||||||||
| The YEP Pages are still in their developmental phase. The first step was to collect specific information as to how local programs and agencies most directly serve, or can support, educators in addressing the variety of issues or needs encountered in the classroom. The next step was to develop an online structure that could present the information and allow continual updates. Once the first draft of the web page was complete, we asked local educators and school site staff to visit the site and provide input. | |||||||||||||
Three key initiatives will be launched in the final phase of development of The YEP Pages:
2. Increase the number of educators, students, and families using or served by The YEP Pages; 3. Provide organizations with an online questionnaire for additions to The YEP Pages; 4. Add information on organizations that relate more specifically to families as well as teachers. |
| We hope the directory will help bridge the communication gap that sometimes exists between the programs that are available and the
variety of needs that local students, their families, and educators face on a daily basis. |
| We welcome your input, questions and suggestions as to how The YEP Pages might be improved or changed. Please submit your comments
and suggestions here. In addition, please feel free to email your comments directly to
tmiller@unitedwaysb.org. |
| If you are with an organization that would like to be added to The YEP Pages please click here and fill out the online questionnaire. |
